This distillery is located in the Satsuma region of Kagoshima Prefecture, famous for its sweet potato shochu. The legend of SADAO MAEMURA, who created the super premium shochu called "MAOH", as well as the distillery that has been producing shochu since its inception are widely known. Mr. MAEMURA has already retired, but his will and the technology he created are still being passed on, together with products from HIGASHI SHUZO brewery.
